The Quiet Recession?

1991. 2001. 2008.

I feel like in general recessions get a lot of attention and press. Forcing the government to respond.

But now I wonder if our government simply doesn’t acknowledge recessions.

It’s Mother’s Day. And we’re at a normally packed restaurant. But it’s slow. We’re noticing thar at a lot of restaurants lately.

The housing prices have dipped. Our local grocery store and restaurant have reduced workers hours.

I feel like we’re in a recession no one is talking about. Silence is Scary stuff.
